Build on Josef

Welcome to Module 3 of the Designer and Builder Program.
In this module, you’ll learn how to use Josef and how to start building bots of your very own, including:
- How to create a bot
- How to create conversations using messages and connections
- How to apply rules to connections
- How to automate documents
- How to test and launch a bot
This module won’t try to teach you everything there is to know about Josef all at once. It’s designed to quickly and easily get you started on Josef.

Tutorial
Throughout this module, you will practice the skills you learn with a bot building exercise at the end of every session. We’ll be creating and building on the same bot across every session. You can choose to follow along and build the same bot we are, or you can take the skills you learn in each session to make a new bot. It’s up to you!
Experimentation
A final word before you start – although this module contains everything you need to know to get started, there is no substitute for practice! As you learn more about the building process, feel free to play around and experiment with the platform. Before too long, you’ll find that building bots on Josef isn’t just easy, it’s fun!
